Based out of Mumbai, Pavninder Singh is one of the Managing Directors with Bain Capital. He joined the firm in 2001 and has worked in the New York and Mumbai offices. Pavninder is a founding member of Bain Capital’s India office and co-leads the India and South East Asia investments of the firm. He has also involved in Bain’s investments in L&T Finance, QuEST Engineering, Emcure Pharmaceuticals and Himadri Chemicals.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Pavninder was the co-CEO of Medrishi.com, a web portal providing healthcare services. Prior to that, he was a consultant at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) where he consulted in the e-commerce, retail, and energy industries.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar. He also received a BA Magna cum Laude from Harvard College.
